Pastoral Area Gathering 2010

Please come and join us for a day of fun and fellowship in beautiful surroundings! We hope many parishioners will come to participate in the 2010 Pastoral Area Gathering, which will bring together the five parishes of our NW Hampshire Pastoral Area, on Sunday 11 July from 11 am to 5.15 pm at Farleigh School, Red Rice, Andover.

The Gathering Mass will begin at noon, followed by a picnic in lovely grounds and a choice of various fun, friendly and non-competitive activities throughout the afternoon, ending with a closing prayer of thanksgiving at 5 pm.

Please sign up on the registration forms now to give the organising team an early indication of numbers and activities of interest to you to enable the plans for the day to be finalised. A full programme with information and directions will be published at the end of June.

In addition to the sporting activities, we are considering other attractions, such as an elite car display area, a musical entertainment and a magician; if you have an elite car you are willing to display or a musical talent you are willing to share or another idea, please contact XX or Mary Lee (Tadley parish on 0118 981 3221).

As previously advised, we are also looking for helpers to supervise an activity for part of the time or to assist with music for the liturgy, marshalling and teas, so if you can help and have not yet volunteered, please indicate on the form or contact one of the team. The more volunteers we have, the shorter the spell on duty!
